Intermediate Pottery Class
Cost: $200 per person + Tax
Ages: 18+ and up
This four-week intermediate class is designed for students who already have basic pottery skills, such as wedging, centering, raising walls, and shaping. These foundational techniques will not be taught in this class. Participants
must have completed our 4-week pottery class or have equivalent experience.
Each session is two hours long and meets once a week for four weeks, starting at the beginning of each month. Classes must be taken consecutively, as we do not offer makeup classes. Please review your schedule carefully before enrolling.
What You’ll Do:
This class focuses on refining your skills and advancing your techniques. You’ll work mostly independently with supervision and guidance, allowing you to focus on more advanced projects such as mugs, plates, lidded vessels or custom pieces of your choice.
Important Information:
- Once your piece is complete, it will be fired (2-3 weeks), and you’ll be contacted to return for glazing. Glazing can be done any time we are open outside of class hours.
- Wear comfortable clothes (pants, shorts) that can get dirty, tie back long hair, and keep fingernails short for the best experience.
