Regular 4 Week Pottery Class

Each class starts at the first of each month and meets once a week for four weeks and each class session is two hours. These classes must be taken consecutively for four weeks. We do not offer a make-up class, so please check your schedule closely.

Regular Class:

You'll throw pieces during Weeks 1 &3.

What  You'll Learn:

 Wedging, centering, making a hole, opening the floor, raising the walls, shaping your pot, and trimming. 

Four-week classes typically make a small bowl or vase. Once a student learns the basics, they may progress to more advanced pieces such as a mug or plate. 

NEW: 4 Week Skill Pottery Class Option

Skill Class:

• You'll throw practice pieces during Weeks 1 & 2 (these will not be kept).
• In Week 3, you’ll throw pieces that you'll keep.
• In Week 4, you'll trim your pieces.

After Class:

Once your piece is complete, we will fire it for you (please allow 2–3 weeks). When it’s ready, we’ll contact you to come glaze your piece—this can be done anytime during regular studio hours.
